The TEXT

Pictured exercises with descriptions and coaching suggestions are not thorough enough for most people to get on a fitness regime.  The BODY RECALL textbook is more than an exercise manual.  It contains exercises adults have already tried and have proven to be risk-free and helpful.  The exercises produce no negative by-products if performed the way they have been described.  It is important to have a secure reference on how to do the exercise every time, whether in class or not.  Exercises that are taught in class come from the textbook, after which the student can use the text for review. Students can use the text as a help for others, and they can help inform their medical and professional associates about the approach to exercise everyone can do regardless of age and physical condition.

Few people have a complete exercise volume in their home libraries.  The BODY RECALL textbook includes the author’s positive philosophy that can add support to  teachers and students in doing gentle, slow exercise.  Since BODY RECALL is a total  fitness program,  the values of treating every part of the body to more gentle and controlled motion, regardless of individual limitations, give opportunity for expanded range of motion  leading to  recoveries of lost skills.  BODY RECALL offers a new message that is a contrast to vigorous action, heart rate monitoring, weight lifting and calisthenics.  It represented a bold break-through to responsible exercise in the late 1970’s when the book was first published, and when vigorous was thought to be the only way  to fitness.  It continues to be a dependable source that agrees with current researched facts about exercise and wellness.

Because use of the text, especially in Beginning classes, helps to stimulate new attitudes  about exercise,  teachers are urged to assign topics from the book for discussions that stimulate a deeper grasp of purposes and benefits of doing simple, thorough action in all possible joints for increased range of motion, and to discover increased appreciation for the response of muscles to gravitational forces in various postures and on different levels.  Teachers who adhere to the full design of the BODY RECALL program continue to grow in skill and experience along with their students.  They remain active in leadership for many years, and classes continue to grow in enrollment.  Students of a growing teacher stay with the program for years and years, experiencing a higher quality of life than their counterparts who have not committed to a regular regime of organized exercise.  BODY RECALL, INC.  requires certified teachers to return to headquarters every three years for  retraining.  These re-trainings are fully backed by scholarships.
